Therapy for Parents of Neurodivergent Kids
Parenting a neurodivergent child is meaningful, complex, and—at times—exhausting in ways few people truly understand. It often requires navigating big emotions, school systems, sensory sensitivities, social challenges, and constant advocacy, all while trying to stay grounded and connected. This work is a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and better understand what’s happening beneath meltdowns, shutdowns, anxiety, and behavioral struggles.
My approach blends attachment-based principles, neuroscience, and practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies. Together, we’ll explore how your child experiences the world, how stress and overwhelm show up in their nervous system, and how your own emotional responses are impacted along the way. We’ll focus on strengthening connection, building regulation skills, and creating supports that fit your child—rather than trying to force them into systems that weren’t designed for them.
Having been down this road myself, you don’t have to do this alone, and you don’t have to keep feeling stuck in cycles of burnout, guilt, or constant crisis management. Together, we’ll work toward creating a family environment grounded in emotional safety, mutual respect, advocacy, and resilience—so both you and your child can feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
